Observation of the Sun

Venue: Macao Science Center Seaside, near the Scenic Pavilion
Attendance: Free admission. No registration required. May be cancelled or rescheduled depending on the weather, please keep an eye on MSC Facebook before departure.
Introduction: This event is a daytime roadside outdoor astronomy observation activity with the Sun as its theme. A professional solar telescope will be set up at the Macao Science Center Seaside, near the Scenic Pavilion, to enjoy the observation of the Sun with the public. The staff will tell the story of our star, the Sun, and guide participants to observe the Sun in a safe and professional way, as well as explaining the basics of stars and the Sun, including the structure of the Sun, the cycle of solar activities.
