Planetarium Closed for IPS-Macao International Fulldome Festival 2014 International Competition and Professional Events

Jointly organized by International Planetarium Society (IPS), Macao Science Center Ltd. & Beijing Planetarium, “IPS-Macao International Fulldome Festival 2014” will open at Macao Science Center on 18 June, followed by international competition and professional events at the Planetarium. An international line-up of 30 digital fulldome shows in 2D or 3D format will be competing for 12 prestigious awards during the Festival. 

To ensure the success of the Festival’s competition and professional events, the Planetarium will be closed from Wednesday, 18 June to Friday, 20 June while the Exhibition Center maintains normal service. 

The public screening of the shortlisted and award-winning fulldome shows will be held at Macao Science Center Planetarium from 21 June to 31 July. Tickets are now available for purchase at Macao Science Center and Macao Ticketing Network outlets.
