Macao Science Center Signed Cooperation Agreements with Five High-tech Enterprises from Hangzhou to Establish a Novel Network for Science Education

The “Face-to-Face Meeting Between Hangzhou Innovation and Technology Enterprises and Macau Youth 2026” was held on April 27 at the Convention Hall of the Macao Science Center. In alignment with the national “15th Five-Year Plan” which positions AI as the primary driver for fostering new productive forces, and the Macao SAR governments strategy of integrating AI science education with the integrated development emphasizing “education, technology, and talent”, Macao Science Center signed cooperation agreements with five innovation and technology enterprises from Hangzhou. Sio Hon Pan, the Curator of the Macao Science Center, represented the Center during the signing ceremony.

The five Hangzhou enterprises, featuring cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality, soft body simulation, and exoskeleton robots, are as follows: Hangzhou YunShenChu Technology Co., Ltd. (DEEP Robotics), focusing on the research and development of quadruped and humanoid robots; Hangzhou Lingban Technology Co., Ltd., 5G+AI+AR glasses ecosystem and operating systems; Zhejiang Linctex Technology Co., Ltd. (Style3D), a world-leading deformation simulation engine and focuses on 3D digitization of the apparel industry; Hangzhou Technik Technology Co., Ltd., humanoid and exoskeleton robots, as well as products of rehabilitation, mobility and handling assistance; and Hangzhou Xialing Interactive AI Service Robot Co., Ltd. focusing on embodied intelligence and multimodal interaction technology in health and wellness services and urban management scenarios. Both parties will establish a regular exchange mechanism to delve into potential collaborations in various realms, including science popularization exhibitions, workshops, and talent training. The Center will organize study tours for students from the “Youth Science and Technology Village” to visit these high-tech enterprises in Hangzhou. This initiative aims to broaden their horizons, acquaint them with the innovation and technology industry’s development trends, and support their career planning and diversified development.

Adhering to the vision of entering the “AI era where no one will be left behind”, the Center has promoted the AI general education within the community with a collaborative model of “government guidance, Center-school collaboration, and association participation”. The collaborations between the Center and these five innovation and technology enterprises from Hangzhou exemplify an expansion of this model from the local Macao level to the national scale, tapping into the countrys science and technology innovation resources. The Center will further enhance its science education content by incorporating cutting-edge national scientific research accomplishments. For instance, the founders of these enterprises, conferred with the title of “Macao Youth Science Popularization Ambassador,” will be invited to act as expert speakers for the “AI Lecture Series”, offering local youth firsthand industry insights from the front lines of industry-academia-research collaboration. Through such engagements, technological exchanges between Hangzhou and Macao will deepen, fostering the development of technological and innovative talents with a national vision and practical skills tailored for Macaos context.
