On April 21, 2026, Macao Science Center and East China Normal University officially inaugurated the "Geography Science Education Base". Centered on advancing Earth system science, ecological civilization, and the principles of sustainable development, the Base conducts regular collaboration related to public science education, teacher-student exchanges, and hands-on inquiry based learning activities. The initiative seeks to foster the sharing of geographical education resources between Shanghai and Macao, elevating Macao's scientific literacy and national education standards.
