Introduction: This event is a fulldome lecture in the planetarium. Mr. Sirius Lei, the director-general of the Macao Astronomical Society, will explain the Standard Model of the universe. We will explore cosmic expansion, the age of the universe, its composition, and its ultimate fate, from the Big Bang theory to the detection of the cosmic microwave background and the study of dark matter and dark energy. How do diverse galaxies form? Where did we come from, and where are we headed? This lecture will recount the universe's legendary journey.
