Delegation Led by Jiangmen Municipal Party Secretary Chen Anming Visits the Macao Science Center

Jiangmen Municipal Party Secretary Chen Anming recently led a 14-member delegation to visit the Macao Science Center, accompanied by the Vice President of the Legislative Assembly of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Chui Sai Cheong. The delegation was received by the Director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau and Chairman of the General Meeting of Shareholders of Macao Science Center, S.A., Kong Chi Meng, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Mok Ian Ian, the Board Member and Executive Committee Member, and Curator of the Macao Science Center, Sio Hon Pan, Board Member U Hon Sang, and Vice Curator Cheong Hung Fat.

The delegation toured the Planetarium, the BeiDou Satellite System Science Popularization International Laboratory, the Macao Information Technology Application Innovation Laboratory, and several thematic exhibition halls. They expressed great appreciation for the achievements of the Macao Science Center in science education in recent years. Chen Anming showed particular interest in the facilities and programs of the BeiDou Satellite System Science Popularization International Laboratory and the Macao Information Technology Application Innovation Laboratory. He expressed hopes for strengthening exchanges and cooperation in science education and study programs between students in Jiangmen and Macao, fostering integrated development within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Other members of the delegation attending the visit included Zhang Lei, Chairman of the Jiangmen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Zheng Zehui, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangmen Municipal Committee; and Cai Dewei, Standing Committee Member and Secretary-General of the Jiangmen Municipal Committee.
