Yesterday (11th), the Guizhou Provincial Education International Exchange Association led a delegation of over 130 primary and secondary school students and teachers from Guizhou Province to the Macao Science Center for a study tour. The opening ceremony of the "Inclusive Learning, Knowledge through Exploration" Macao Winter Camp was also held, with a warm welcome from Sio Hon Pan, a Board member and Executive Committee member of Macao Science Center Limited and Curator of Macao Science Center, along with Mr.U Hon Sang, Director of the Center.

During the opening ceremony, Curator Sio extended a heartfelt welcome to the visiting students and teachers from Guizhou. He introduced the architectural features and numerous accolades of the Macao Science Center and encouraged the students to fully immerse themselves in the exploratory experience, engage in hands-on activities with interactive exhibits, and appreciate the wonders of science. He also hoped that through this study tour and exchange, students could broaden their horizons, learn about Macao's education and cultural characteristics, deepen their understanding of Macao, and create wonderful memories.

Following a group photo under the heart-shaped tree at the Macao Science Center, the delegation officially commenced their study tour. The guests first visited the Beidou Satellite System Science International Laboratory, where they learned about the exclusive science education program on the Beidou Satellite Navigation System authorized to the Macao Science Center. They then proceeded to the observation deck to admire the surroundings of the Science Center and visited various thematic exhibitions, including the "Brilliant China, Technological Innovation for the Future" series exhibition, several thematic exhibition halls, and the Cyber Lab. Lastly, the guests and students gathered at the Planetarium to experience the advanced digital dome projection system and the impressive audiovisual effects of the "Digital Sky Dark Matter" system.

Ms. Chen Jie, Party Secretary of Guiyang No. 3 Middle School, highly praised the Macao Science Center’s well-equipped facilities, rich science education resources, and highly interactive exhibits that encourage visitors to participate. She described the center as vibrant and dynamic, with exhibitions closely aligned with technological advancements, effectively showcasing past, present, and future technologies while illustrating the close relationship between science and daily life. She regarded it as one of the best science museums she has ever visited and expressed hope for future collaboration with the Macao Science Center, leveraging Guizhou’s abundant natural and historical resources.

Zhang Xinyan, a participating primary school student, shared that she particularly enjoyed watching the 3D dome film at the Planetarium. She found the visuals remarkably clear and realistic, which allowed her to gain insights into the vastness of the universe and knowledge about the planets in the solar system. Meanwhile, Zhang Chenghua, a secondary school student, was especially impressed by the superconducting quantum computer exhibited in the "Brilliant China, Technological Innovation for the Future" series exhibition. He aspires to become an information technology engineer and hopes to work in the field of artificial intelligence in the future.
