    1. Where is Macao Science Center located?

    Macao Science Center is located at Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, nearby landmarks are the Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal, the Fisherman Wharf, and the Cultural Centre.


    2. How can we get to Macao Science Center?

    You may take taxi or bus routes 3A, 8, 12, 17S and 60 to the Macao Science Center towards Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre. For details of bus routes, please check the following link: http://www.dsat.gov.mo/bus/site/bus_service.aspx


    3. Is there a car park at Macao Science Center? What are the charges?

    There is an underground car park at the Center for public, and is managed by the Macao Transport Bureau. MOP$6/ hour (day time) and MOP$3/hour(night time) light vehicle, and MOP$2/ hour (day time) and MOP$1/hour(night time) for motorcycle. For the latest news, please refer to the website of the Macao Transport Bureau.


    4. Is there any lockers for visitors at the Center?

    The Center provides free electronic lockers at the lobby for visitors to keep their baggage. If the size of your baggage exceeds 26", you may bring your baggage to the Ticketing Counter for free storage service. Please note that according to the Center's Conditions of Storage Service, visitors should keep well their valuables, fragile and perishable items to avoid loss or damage.


    5. What are the Center's opening hours?

    The Center opens on Monday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, the Center will stop selling tickets at 5:30pm, and it will close on Thursdays and open on public holidays. Open daily in July and August.


    6. How much does it cost to visit Macao Science Center?

    7. Can we pre-order tickets to Macao Science Center?

    Pre-sale tickets are not available for the Center for the moment. Visitors may purchase on-the-day tickets at the Center, on the Macao Science Center website or from its WeChat official account.


    8. What are the payment methods to purchase the Center’s tickets?

    The Center accepts MOP, HKD (Exchange rate 1:1), credit card (VISA and MASTER), UnionPay, Macau Pass, MPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, BoC Pay, BoC Pay, Tai Fung Pay, ICBC ePay, LusoPay, CGB Pay and UePay.


    9. Do children need to buy tickets?

    Children under 2 years old can enjoy free admission.


    10. Is there any age limit to visit the Center?

    To ensure the safety of children and the public, children under 12 years old should be accompanied by an adult above 18 years old to enter the Exhibition Center and the Planetarium.


    11. Is there any additional charges for visiting special exhibitions?

    There is no additional charge for special exhibition unless otherwise stated. 


    12. What are the opening hours of the Center's Gift Shop and the MSC Kids World?

    Please refer to the opening hours of the Center (refer to Question 5).


    13. Can visitors bring baby strollers to the Center?

    Yes, you may.


    14. Is there any restaurant at the Center?

    There is a café (Padaria da Guia) and a fast food restaurant (McDonald's) at the Center.


    15. Can wheelchair users visit the Center?

    The Center welcomes wheelchair users visit the Center. The main channel and washrooms inside the Center are designed and equipped with facilities to cope with the needs of wheelchair users.


    16. Does the Center provide wheelchairs and baby strollers for visitors? 

    The Center does not provide baby strollers loan service, but provide wheelchairs loan service, please proceed to the Ticketing Counter for related service. 


    17.Can visitors take photographs and videos inside the Center?

    Visitors can take photographs and videos inside the Center for personal use only, please do not use tripod or other large filming equipments to avoid disturbances to other visitors. For commercial and promotional photograph or video shooting, please write a request to the Center in advance. For details, please call (853) 2888 0822 or email to info@msc.org.mo.


    18. How to get the Planetarium program schedule?

    The Planetarium will provide a 2-week program schedules. The Planetarium program schedules will revise according to actual needs, so please refer to the Center's website for the most update "Schedules" or please call (853) 2888 0822 to confirm the schedule of the program you wish to watch.


    19. Is there any group booking service at the Center?

    Visiting groups can  fill in group booking application form via the following link: http://groupbooking.msc.org.mo/, please submit the form 2 weeks prior to the date of visit. 


    20. What are the major attractions of Macao Science Center?

    Visitors may check out both the Exhibition Center and the Planetarium. There are 14 galleries in the Exhibition Center with a variety of themes, please refer to the following link for more details https://www.msc.org.mo/en/article-detail/21/introduce. The Planetarium offers high resolution and 3D dome shows according to its daily schedule, please refer to the following link for more details https://www.msc.org.mo/en/time-table/31/planetarium-movie. It is also a good idea to visit the Scenic Pavilion just steps away from Gallery 14 of the Exhibition Center.
