In order to promote meteorological popular science education in Macao, the Macao Science Center(MSC) and the Macao Meteorological Society co-organized the Story of Clouds Photography Competition. Through photographic works themed on clouds, the aim is to show the ever-changing beauty of the various types of clouds, while deepening the public’s understanding and appreciation of clouds.
The exhibition featuring the winning and shortlisted entries will take place at Gallery 2, the Exhibition Center, MSC, from September to November, 2020. It will also introduce the classification of clouds and related popular science knowledge. In conjunction, a STEM workshop will be organized, guiding participants to use micro:bit and other components to build a simple weather station, so that they can learn programming and how to monitor weather changes.
