Grand Exhibition of Popular Science and Technology - Innovation Makes Our Life Better
Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Grand Exhibition of Popular Science and Technology – Innovation Makes Our Life Better is held at the atrium and the Gallery 02 of the Exhibition Center of the Macao Science Center from January 10 to February 28, to review the major sci-tech achievements of the country as well as the fruits of the city’s popular science education and youth innovation in science and technology after its return to the motherland. The aim is to enhance local people’s sense of pride of their identity as a Chinese citizen and sense of belonging to Macao and motherland, while increasing their sense of happiness.
Hosted by the Macao SAR government and the China Association for Science and Technology, the exhibition is co-organized by the China Science and Technology Museum, the Association for Promotion of Science and Technology of Macau and the Macao Science Center. The Macao Foundation sponsors parts of the funds, with support from the Companhia de Telecomunicações de Macau (CTM). Supporting institutions include the University of Macau, the Macau University of Science and Technology, the Macao Polytechnic Institute, the University of Saint Joseph, the Pui Ching Middle School, the Workers' Children High School, Macau, the Hou Kong Middle School, the Escola Dos Moradores De Macau (EMM), the Pooi To Middle School, the Xin Hua School and the Affiliated School of the University of Macau.
