Planetarium Show Ticket Price Adjustment
Effective from Tuesday, 15 May, Macao Science Center will adjust the Standard and Group admission fares to its Planetarium. The standard ticket prices for 2D and 3D Dome/Sky Shows will increase to MOP50 and MOP65 respectively whereas the ticket prices for groups of 20 or more will increase to MOP40 and MOP50 respectively. The admission fare to the Exhibition Center and of other special and general concessionary tickets to the Planetarium will remain unchanged. Macao Science Center Features Science Popularisation Series
“Food Safety & Health”
 
In recent years, the world has been looking for a solution to the problem of imbalanced food supply due to global warming and huge population growth, which give rise to the rapid development in crop protection techniques and food additives in order to cope with the increasing demand for food. Nevertheless, one cannot ignore the hidden threat to food safety derived from these techniques. To enhance public understanding of food safety, food processing and food additives, the Macao Science Center is cooperating with the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) to feature a series of science popularisation public activity “Food Safety & Health” from 18 February to 31 March. The Center invites famous scholars from Macao, Hong Kong and Beijing to give lectures and workshops to demonstrate the way how food safety and hygiene affects environment and human health.
