Planetarium Show Ticket Price Adjustment
Effective from Tuesday, 15 May, Macao Science Center will adjust the Standard and Group admission fares to its Planetarium. The standard ticket prices for 2D and 3D Dome/Sky Shows will increase to MOP50 and MOP65 respectively whereas the ticket prices for groups of 20 or more will increase to MOP40 and MOP50 respectively. The admission fare to the Exhibition Center and of other special and general concessionary tickets to the Planetarium will remain unchanged. Our 2nd Anniversary Celebrations – Macao Science Center at its Best
The Macao Science Center’s 2nd Anniversary is coming up soon. In the month of December, the Macao Science Center has devised a few treats for the public to help celebrate its second year of successful operation.
This year, we start by offering our most welcome visitors a free entrance to the Exhibition Center on our anniversary day (19 December). But that’s not all!
For this special day, at noon, the Macao Science Center will also hold the award winning ceremony for both the winners of the MSC Writing Competition and for the “Science On Camera” Photo Contest.
In the Exhibition Center visitors can also find a few surprises. Besides the newly added demonstrations of Molecular Kitchen that will be featured in the Science Express Gallery, visitors will also be able to interact for the very first time with the exhibits featuring the 15 award-winning software programmes from the “Interactive Exhibit Software Design Contest” distributed in our exhibition galleries.
If the Planetarium wasn’t in your initial visit plan, then think again! Since the 2nd of December, our new 3D Dome Show “Legends of Flight 3D” has been dazzling audiences with images of the two new era milestones in commercial aviation, Airbus A380 and Boeing Dreamliner 787.
For those visitors who are flying enthusiasts, they will be amazed by the flight simulator set up flight experience area in the lobby, where visitors will have a chance to fly a plane around a virtual terrain just like real pilots!
When visitors have already enjoyed all these events and new exhibition features and are planning to leave, the last and most eye catching surprise will be unveiled. Starting on the 19th of December, MSC’s newly added “The Shadows at MSC” will be projected at the main entrance upper wall. Visitors will marvel at this show whether they are standing at the information kiosk or at MSC’s Cafe Corner taking a rest, no matter from which angle they are watching, it will guide them to the wonders of this beautiful city called Macao.
After a very fulfilling visit to the Macao Science Center, visitors can rest at our Cafe Corner and browse through our newly launched MSC Tourist Map, where we invite visitors to “Roam the Museums of Macao”. Visitors may also purchase the special limited edition of the Macao Pass featuring the Macao Science Center at our Souvenir Shop.
With this MSC edition of the Macao Pass, visitor will be able to purchase the tickets to the Exhibition Center directly, making their next visit both faster and more convenient.
