Planetarium Show Ticket Price Adjustment
Effective from Tuesday, 15 May, Macao Science Center will adjust the Standard and Group admission fares to its Planetarium. The standard ticket prices for 2D and 3D Dome/Sky Shows will increase to MOP50 and MOP65 respectively whereas the ticket prices for groups of 20 or more will increase to MOP40 and MOP50 respectively. The admission fare to the Exhibition Center and of other special and general concessionary tickets to the Planetarium will remain unchanged. Announce “Science On Camera” Photo Contest
In celebration of the 2nd anniversary of Macao Science Center, the Center and Macao Digital Photography Association announce a public photography contest, “Science On Camera”. The contest is designed to highlight the relationship between science and everyday life and the interesting aspects of science. Entrants are eligible for attractive prizes, and outstanding entries may be selected for display or use in the website and other publications of Macao Science Center.
The contest is open to any resident of Macao with interest in photography. Images submitted should embody the photographer’s efforts to capture the exhibitions, facilities or general environment of Macao Science Center, Nature in Macao, demonstrations or applications of Science and Technology, as well as snapshots taken in science classes or laboratories. Each winning photographers shall receive a trophy and a monetary prize.
The “Science On Camera” Photo Contest is now open for entry. Photographers may enter multiple photos in the contest. Entry forms and contest rules are available for download at the website of Macao Science Center (www.msc.org.mo) and that of Macao Digital Photography Association (www.mdpa.mo). Interested individuals may also pick up the contest’s entry forms and rules at the following locations:
