As arranged by the Transport Bureau, the underground carpark underneath the Scenic Square of the Macao Science Center will be open to the public commencing midnight of 1 July. The carpark is operated by a designated company, providing 415 parking spaces for light vehicles and 413 parking spaces for motorcycles and scooters. According to the regulations of use and operation announced by the Bureau, the hourly rates for cars and motorcycles are MOP3.00 and MOP 1.00 respectively.
With the commencement of the service, the temporary free parking spaces currently provided to the visiting public will be reserved for vehicles authorised by the Macao Science Center from 1 July, and free parking spaces will no longer be provided.
