Accompanied by the members of the Board of Directors, General Assembly and Supervisory Board of Macao Science Center Limited and the Director of the Infrastructure Development Office (GDI), Mr. Chan Hon Kit, the Chief Executive, Mr. Edmund Ho Hau Wah visited the construction site of Macao Science Center on 25th September 2009 to understand the construction progress and to attend an introduction on various facilities and selected exhibits delivered by the Chief Curator of the Center, Mr. Yip Chee-kuen.
As the construction of all the main structures of Macao Science Center is about to finish, the galleries at the Exhibition Center have entered the interior decoration or exhibit installation stage. Apart from visiting the Planetarium and the Convention Center, the Chief Executive also visited the Atrium of the Exhibition Center and selected galleries including the Fun Science Gallery that has already had its exhibit installed in early September. The Chief Executive showed great interest to the interactive exhibits, he also discussed the work progress on the carpark outside Macao Science Center with Board members. The visit to Macao Science Center lasted about 1 hour.
Members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board of Macao Science Center Limited who joined the Chief Executive on his visit to Macao Science Center include the President of the Board of Directors, Mr. Vitor Ng, Vice President Mr. Lam Kam Seng Peter, Vice Presidents of the General Assembly Ms. Ho Kuai Leng and Mr. Tong Chi Kin, Mr. José Chui Sai Peng, Mr. Li Pui Lam, Mr. Sio Chi Wai, Mr. Mok Chi Wai, President of the Supervisory Board, Ms. Paula Hsião Yun Ling and Mr. Lao Veng Seng.
