Planetarium Show Ticket Price Adjustment
Effective from Tuesday, 15 May, Macao Science Center will adjust the Standard and Group admission fares to its Planetarium. The standard ticket prices for 2D and 3D Dome/Sky Shows will increase to MOP50 and MOP65 respectively whereas the ticket prices for groups of 20 or more will increase to MOP40 and MOP50 respectively. The admission fare to the Exhibition Center and of other special and general concessionary tickets to the Planetarium will remain unchanged. The awards ceremony for the “Macao Science Center Interactive Exhibit Software Design Contest” was successfully held at Macao Science Center on the 23rd June 2011. The ceremony was opened with the welcome speech by Mr. Leong Si Chong, Senior Manager of Exhibition Department of Macao Science Center. The awards presenters included Mr. Lei Pui Lam, Vice President of Macao Science Center Limited, Mrs. Chao Chiu Veng Chong, Cultural Events Department of Cultural Affairs Bureau, Mr. Liem Tao, Manager of Information System Department of Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, as well as Mr. Wong Yik Fai, Senior Advisor of iCenter. Aside from the awarded students and their instructors, Mr. Iao Tun Ieong, Principal of Hou Kong Middle School, Ms. Chan Hong, Vice Principal of Hou Kong Middle School, Ms. Wong Ka Weng, representative of Macao University of Science and Technology and Mr. Gong Zhi Guo and Mr. Joseph Sy-Changco, representatives of University of Macao also attended the ceremony.
The awarded students are now optimizing their software program which will be displayed in the upcoming Achievement Exhibition for Interactive Exhibit Software Design Contest.
